Hailing from La Hague, near Cherbourg, and based in Rennes for the past 7 years, Héron Cendré fashions a poetic world of modular synthesiser sounds, field recordings gleaned from schools and other minimalist lo-fi oddities. The album 3-4 is a perfect illustration. His influences range from Terry Riley, Philip Glass and Hiroshi Yoshimura to François de Roubaix, Jean-Jacques Perrey and Pierre Bastien.
