Thomas Tilly

Thomas Tilly is a musician using microphones and speakers as its main instruments of creation.

Centered on the study of the sound environment and its confrontation with the space in which it exists, his work borrows as much from experimental musical research as from scientific research. This is evidenced by the art/science project Codex Amphibia (Phonotaxis), realized in cooperation with Antoine Fouquet, herpetologist (CR CNRS), through which he combines a research project and the creation of a series of sound pieces based on recordings of explosive reproductions of amphibians in Guyana.
