A Natural History of Networks

Manipulating a liquid metal alloy animated with electrodes, German artist Ralf Baecker generates in real time a set of shapes and sounds in perpetual evolution. Between art and science, organic and mechanical, symmetry and chaos, this fascinating performance sparks the imagination, bringing hurricanes to life and forests to bloom with a few drops of liquid.

A Natural History of Networks / Softmachine is not suitable for people who are photosensitive or prone to epileptic fits.

This performance will take place at the Espace des sciences, in the Champs Libres, and is proposed within the framework of the Fête de la science (7 – 17 October 2022)
