Drumming in Motion

In a highly atypical acoustic and scenic setting, the innovative Ensemble Links invites us to rediscover Drumming, a major score by Steve Reich, which inspired one of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker‘s most beautiful pieces. 

Composed of musicians, visual artists and scenographers, the French ensemble Links develops unique concert formats at the crossroads of several disciplines, working with emblematic works of the 20th century or creations of current composers. Drumming is transformed: a concert that is anything but static, whose dynamics are based on a sophisticated and skillfully spatialized acoustic device. Musicians and spectators cross paths throughout, with sound perception changing depending on where you are.
